Which is better: Generic or Commercial Drugs?

Yesterday, I had my abdomen cramps once again. So, I have to take a pain killer medication to ease my discomfort.  My cousin bought ibuprofen from a Botika ng Bayan, the nearest drugstore to our placeThis pharmacy was put up by the government to sell generic drugs at much cheaper costs.

Are generic ibuprofen medicines effective? Sure, it is. However, my only complaint about these drugs is its efficiency. That’s because it took a while before the drug worked and eventually alleviated my cramps. This is of course contrary to the fast relief action commercial ibuprofen medications do.

Finally, generic drugs maybe cheaper and as effective as the branded medications. However, I am not advising others to take them for appeasing pain and discomfort. Perhaps, it is much better if sick individuals use them for maintenance purposes instead. This way, they will be able to enjoy the same benefits that branded drugs offer while saving a lot from their medicine costs.

  1. Ibuprofen is not the preferred drug of choice for abdominal cramps but for menstrual cramps, you should always consult with a physician or other healthcare professional so they can tell you the most effective treatment.
